The Income Potential
One of the most attractive aspects of Young Living is the income potential. You can earn money by selling products, enrolling new members, building a team, and qualifying for bonuses. The amount of money you can make depends on your rank, your sales volume, your team size, and your team performance. Here is an overview of the compensation plan and the bonuses you can earn:
The compensation plan has 10 ranks: Distributor, Star, Senior Star, Executive, Silver, Gold, Platinum, Diamond, Crown Diamond, and Royal Crown Diamond. Each rank has different requirements for personal volume (PV), organizational volume (OV), legs, and leaders. The higher your rank, the higher your commission percentage and income potential.
You can earn commissions from three sources: retail sales, wholesale sales, and unilevel sales. Retail sales are when you sell products directly to customers at retail price. Wholesale sales are when you enroll new members who buy products at wholesale price. Unilevel sales are when you earn commissions from the sales of your team members up to five levels deep.
You can also earn bonuses from four sources: Fast Start Bonus, Starter Kit Bonus, Rising Star Bonus Pool, and Generation Leadership Bonus. Fast Start Bonus is when you earn 25% of the PV of your new enrollees' orders for the first three months. Starter Kit Bonus is when you earn $25 for each Premium Starter Kit sold by you or your personally enrolled members. Rising Star Bonus Pool is when you earn a share of 1% of Young Living's total commissionable sales if you meet certain criteria. Generation Leadership Bonus is when you earn additional commissions from your leadership legs up to eight generations deep.
